Wegener's Granulomatosis with ANCA

Abstract

|
Wegener's granulomatosis is characterized by necrotizing and granulomatosis is characterized by necrotizing and granulomatous disease which involves chiefly upper and lower respiratory tract. The basic pathophysiologic mechanism of Wegener's
granulomatosis is still unknown but assciated systemic vasculitis such as anti-neutrophilic cytoplasmic autoantidosies (ANCA).
This case was involved sinusitis, pulmonary hemorrhage, skin and kidney. The diagnosis was done by clinical symptom and characteristic pathologic biopsy findings of the nasal mucosa, skin, kidney and serology for C-tyep ANCA. The patient treated
with
cyclophosphomide pulse therapy and steroid therapy. We report a case with references.
